The W3 mail robot

Mail robot

If your computer has electronic mail but no direct connection to the Internet, you can still read W3 documents: send a message to listserv@info.cern.ch with the line

    send http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html

and the robot will mail the document back to you, formatted as the Line Mode Browser would print it, with the links numbered. Send "send" with the address of a link to follow it.
