Help
You are reading this document with a W3 browser. Which browser you
have depends on your computer:
- Line Mode Browser
- Works on any terminal: dumb terminals, VT100s, and so on. Links are
numbered in square brackets. To follow a link, type its number and
press RETURN. Press RETURN alone to see the next page. Type "back" to
return to the previous document, "help" for a list of commands, "quit"
to leave.
- WorldWideWeb for NeXTStep
- The original browser and editor: hypertext documents are edited
directly with a mouse, links are followed by double-clicking.
- Other browsers
- Erwise and Viola for X11, a browser for MS-DOS and a Macintosh
browser are in development.
Whichever browser you use, the documents are the same: they are kept
on servers around the world
and fetched when you follow a link.
